Job Summary:

McLaren Health Care is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist Registered to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. As a key member of our invasive cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting physicians in the performance of echocardiogram procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physiologic monitoring and recording services to patients undergoing echocardiogram procedures

• Assist physicians in the performance of echocardiogram procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient laboratory operations

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of allied health experience in an acute care setting and Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, Radiology Specials, or Neuro Interventional Procedures experience required

• OR

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiological Technologist (RTR) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)

• OR

• Graduate of an accredited program, and Registration as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International required within six (6) months of hire

• OR

• Graduate from a non-accredited program in either electrophysiology or invasive cardiovascular technology. Obtain either RCIS or RCES registration within 18 months of graduation. One year of work experience is required to be eligible for the registry exam.

• Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational program in Respiratory Therapy, LPN, or Echo Tech

• ACLS certification within six (6) months of hire

Preferred:

• Previous experience working in an invasive cardiovascular environment

• Minimum of three years of allied health experience in an acute care setting and Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, Radiology Specials, or Neuro Interventional Procedures experience required

• OR

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiological Technologist (RTR) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)

• OR

• Registration as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist by Cardiovascular Credentialing International required within six (6) months of hire

• OR

• Graduate of an accredited CVT program, and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) within 6 months of hire/transfer

• ACLS certification within six (6) months of hire
