In certain situations, the Housekeeper may also engage in deep cleaning tasks within guest rooms, working in tandem with preventative maintenance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a friendly and service-oriented demeanor in all interactions with guests and colleagues.
- Ensure consistent attendance in line with company standards, adapting to the hotel’s scheduling needs.
- Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the designated uniform and name tag.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms during each shift.
- Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies.
- Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
- May require disassembling furniture or items in guest rooms for deep cleaning purposes.
- Deep cleaning tasks may include changing air conditioning filters, cleaning coils, touching up paint, and addressing any furniture scratches.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
