Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Clark Nexsen. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems for commercial and government facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of mechanical engineering design, including HVAC engineering and design.
  • Provide oversight and coordination of mechanical engineering projects and the mechanical engineering portion of multi-discipline projects.
  • Direct and supervise mechanical engineers and designers, ensuring quality control and adherence to project budget and schedule.
  • Develop and implement mechanical engineering project plans and production methodologies.
  • Prepare accurate and complete mechanical drawings and specifications for schematic, design development, and construction document submittals.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ABET-accredited 4-, 5-, or 6-year engineering program in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Must be a fully licensed Professional Engineer in at least one US state, preferably in the local jurisdiction.
  • Desirable certifications include Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Building Energy Assessment Professional (BEAP), and Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP).
