Job Title: Senior Mechanical Systems Designer

Job Summary:

Selectek is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Systems Designer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating HVAC and plumbing systems for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and coordinate HVAC and plumbing systems, including refrigeration, chilled water, hot water, and airflow systems
  • Perform load calculations and feasibility assessments of proposed projects
  • Troubleshoot existing mechanical systems
  • Estimate costs of materials, labor, and equipment required to complete projects
  • Create engineering drawings and specifications for plumbing and fire protection, as needed
  • Subcontract specialized craftwork, as required
  • Recommend improvements or upgrades to design, as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • PE or EIT certification
  • Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical system design and coordination
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
  • Proficiency in HVAC and plumbing design

What We Offer:
