Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing the conversion of leads to sales revenue, providing estimates, product knowledge, and expertise to customers, and developing new strategies for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize the conversion of leads to sales revenue and generate referral and repeat business.
  • Provide estimates, product knowledge, and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customer needs and interests.
  • Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents, and compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Develop, negotiate, and implement agreements for new and existing customers.
  • Maintain a high level of clear, consistent communication with sales managers regarding overall performance, sales goals, margin, and adherence to company policy and paperwork compliance.
  • Develop new strategies and identify opportunities for growth by working directly with both prospective and existing customers.
  • Understand the market, monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Expand business reach through networking and partnerships to increase sales and customer retention.
  • Provide decision-making support for drafting and blueprints internally and externally.
  • Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
  • Prepare estimates of construction work by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Lead and participate on cross-functional teams to address opportunities and solve issues by utilizing problem-solving skills.
  • Support taking on-site pictures and dimensions before, during, and after a project.
  • Manage and maintain accounts receivable.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in agriculture, preferably in sales or marketing with a bachelor's degree.
  • Great negotiation, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and high-level customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with strict attention to detail and a great work ethic.
  • Proficient computer skills with effective written and verbal communication.
