About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at APICII Hospitality. This role is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and collaborating with the Executive Chef to maintain quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Executive Chef to execute and oversee the preparation of high-quality dishes.
  • Manage the daily operation of the BBQ pit, ensuring optimal temperature control and consistent cooking methods for high-quality smoked meats.
  • Interact with guests during special events or BBQ-focused promotions to explain the cooking process and highlight the unique flavors of the smoked meats.
  • Coordinate and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper workflow and delegation.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and flavor profiles.
  • Proficient in smoking, grilling, and roasting techniques for various types of meat, including beef, pork, chicken, and specialty items.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
