Job Overview:

We are in search of a proficient Civil Construction Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience in overseeing substantial commercial site development and FDOT projects. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of civil construction methodologies, a proven track record in managing intricate projects, and experience working with civil contracting firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all stages of civil construction projects, from the initial planning and design phase to final completion.
  • Manage project finances, timelines, and resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to FDOT regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, resolve issues, and uphold quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain essential project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, promoting a cooperative and efficient work atmosphere.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a Project Manager role within civil construction, particularly with large commercial site development and FDOT projects.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of civil construction practices, FDOT regulations, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Certifications: PMP or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
