Business Growth and Development Specialist

Options for Learning is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth and sustainability of our organization through strategic partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a passion for social impact to join our team and contribute to our mission of helping families break the cycle of poverty and improve their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Contract and Growth Opportunities: Develop plans to maximize and expand current program contracts, and explore new services and programs aligned to the organization's mission and responsive to community needs.
- Partnership Development: Identify, cultivate, and secure strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, government agencies, and other nonprofits aligned with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Relationship Management and Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective business partners, nurturing relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction, and collaborate with internal teams to leverage partnerships for maximum impact.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring clear terms and expectations for both parties, and monitor and evaluate partnership performance, tracking key metrics and outcomes to assess impact and inform future strategies.
- Communication: Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on partnership activities, successes, and challenges, and provide ongoing analysis and recommendations on business development opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in partnership development, business development, or related field, preferably within the education or nonprofit sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of achieving goals and driving impact.
- Knowledge of child development, early childhood education, or related fields.
