Position Overview

The Strategic Partnerships Manager is integral to our organization's growth and sustainability, focusing on the development and management of key partnerships. This role seeks a proactive individual who is passionate about social change, possesses strong business insight, and excels in relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. **Contracts and Growth Strategies:**

  • Collaborate with the contracts and grants manager to devise strategies that enhance and expand existing program contracts;
  • Investigate new services and initiatives that align with our mission and respond to community needs;

2. **Partnership Development:**

  • Identify, nurture, and secure strategic alliances with corporations, foundations, government entities, and other nonprofits that share our mission;
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of potential partners' objectives to forge mutually beneficial collaborations.

3. **Relationship Management and Collaboration:**

  • Act as the primary liaison for current and prospective partners, fostering relationships and ensuring satisfaction;
  • Work closely with internal teams to maximize the impact of partnerships, including program development and community engagement;
  • Promote a collaborative culture across departments to ensure alignment in partnership initiatives;

4. **Contract Negotiation and Oversight:**

  • Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring clarity in terms and expectations;
  • Monitor and assess partnership performance, tracking key metrics to evaluate impact and inform future strategies.

5. **Communication:**

  • Regularly update internal stakeholders on partnership activities, successes, and challenges;
  • Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations regarding business development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, communications, or a related discipline;
  • Demonstrated experience in partnership development or business development, ideally within the education or nonprofit sectors;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders;
  • Excellent project management capabilities, with a knack for prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects effectively;
  • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach and a history of achieving objectives;
  • Knowledge of child development or early childhood education is a plus;
  • A commitment to the mission and values of our organization.

  • Competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year.
