Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intricate design calculations for both new and existing structural frameworks.
- Generate detailed documentation and reports from initial design concepts to advanced technical specifications.
- Perform on-site investigations and accurately record findings.
- Collaborate closely with various engineering and architectural teams.
- Review construction drawings, address requests for information (RFIs), and carry out field observations during the construction administration phase.
The salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $100,000 annually. The specific salary will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, educational background, and work location.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory, with coursework in building systems engineering.
- A Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing with concrete, steel, masonry, and/or wood is essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural engineering design software (RISA, SAP, and/or TSD) is required.
- E.I.T. accreditation is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
