Position Summary:
The ACT Team Lead is responsible for providing comprehensive oversight and strategic direction for the clinical and operational functions of a diverse team. This role encompasses ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, offering supervisory support to team members, and managing all aspects of staffing, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Additionally, the Team Lead is tasked with safeguarding the financial integrity of the program, which includes monitoring participant levels to maintain fiscal health, managing team expenditures, and ensuring the appropriate allocation of program resources. A strong commitment to the values upheld by Resources for Human Development is essential in fulfilling these responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Client Engagement:
- Formulates initial assessments and treatment strategies for all clients entering the program, delegating responsibilities to Direct Care staff.
- Continuously evaluates client progress to adapt treatment plans according to evolving needs.
- Maintains a primary caseload as the lead clinician for assigned clients.
Team Leadership:
- Provides direct supervision to team members, including:
- Assisting in the recruitment of new staff as necessary.
- Training and guiding staff in conducting assessments and creating effective care plans.
- Regularly reviewing employee performance and providing constructive feedback.
- Organizing and distributing work assignments among team members.
- Keeping staff informed about relevant policies and procedures.
- Implementing established policies and procedures from Resources for Human Development.
- Ensuring 24/7 crisis intervention support is available for program participants.
- Supporting staff in essential functions such as:
- Connecting clients with external services
- Monitoring service delivery and outcomes
- Resolving issues
- Building informal support networks
- Providing rehabilitation skills training
- Facilitating peer support services
- Regularly supervises individual caseloads and team dynamics.
Administrative Duties:
- Oversees the maintenance of medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develops an effective scheduling system for program staff to meet operational needs.
Financial Oversight:
- Collaborates with the Financial Manager to ensure the program's financial sustainability through cost management and revenue generation.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements:
- 30% travel required for IA-ACT.
Qualifications:
- A graduate degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Education, or a related field.
- A graduate degree in human services with a minimum of three years of direct care experience with adults in Mental Health, Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, Substance Abuse, Juvenile Justice, Health Care, Vocational Rehabilitation, or similar programs, including two years of community-based treatment experience.
- Clinical licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LISW, RN, or MD.
- A valid driver's license is required.

- Medium: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
