Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial data, including budgetary and accounting adjustments, to provide accurate and timely information to supervisors.
  • Financial Information and Advice: Provide financial information and advice to supervisors, including budgetary and accounting guidance, to support informed decision-making.
  • Special Reports and Analysis: Prepare and present special reports and analyses as required, using financial data and other relevant information.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile various accounts and ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Budget Preparation: Assist in the preparation of budgets at the direction of the Budget Analysts, and perform all budget functions as required.
  • Other Duties: Perform related duties as assigned, including providing support to other departments and teams as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience of at least two years.
  • Experience: At least two years of experience in accounting procedures, preferably in a college or university setting.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform duties accurately, including computer input and operation, and to interact well with the public and work well with others.
  • Qualification Standards: Education: Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience of at least one year. Successful experience: One-year experience in accounting procedures, preferably in a college or university environment.
