Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance catering and event services, increase revenue, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions for their events.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise event planners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability while maintaining high-quality service.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of the event planning process.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote catering and events services, develop promotional materials, and attend industry trade shows and networking events.
  • Head planner on all special events such as New Year's Eve, St. Patrick's Parade Day & more.
  • Ensure that all events meet the highest standards of quality and service, conducting post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards in all catering and event operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in catering and events management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as required.
