Job Overview

Rainbow Shops - Corp is a dynamic specialty retailer headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, with a presence across the United States and the Caribbean. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to join our Construction Department at the corporate office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all HVAC service requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage bids and installations for HVAC systems as required.
  • Request, collect, and analyze HVAC surveys for potential new store locations.
  • Facilitate the filing process for new HVAC unit installations in compliance with NYC regulations.
  • Administer all Category 1 NYC inspections.
  • Handle incoming facility service inquiries efficiently.
  • Coordinate HVAC and facility operations with external vendors, ensuring project completion.
  • Review and authorize all invoices related to HVAC and facility maintenance.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address any discrepancies found in invoices.
  • Report HVAC and facility issues to landlords as stipulated in lease agreements.
  • Address and manage state and city violations.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC management.

We anticipate that the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $63,000 to $70,000, depending on their qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off for eligible employees.
