Core Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Guide, mentor, and supervise a team of 50+ HVAC Technicians, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
    • Manage daily operations, including technician scheduling, job assignments, and work order oversight.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate objectives, updates, and provide continuous training and support.
  2. Service Management:
    • Guarantee the efficient execution of all HVAC service tasks, including maintenance, repairs, and installations for commercial clients.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.
    • Monitor service metrics, including response times, job completion rates, and customer satisfaction levels.
  3. Client Relations:
    • Act as the primary liaison for major commercial clients, addressing service concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
    • Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive service management.
  4. Technical Guidance:
    • Leverage extensive HVAC technical expertise to assist and guide technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex service challenges.

  5. Financial Oversight:
    • Develop and manage the service department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and profitability.

  6. Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure all service activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment for all technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years in the HVAC industry, with significant experience as an HVAC Technician.
    • Proven experience in managing large teams of HVAC Technicians in a commercial environment.
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in HVAC is highly desirable.
    • EPA Certification and other relevant HVAC certifications are advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
    • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
    • Proficient in service management software and relevant tools.
    • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
