Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Planner/Project Manager to join our team at Aztec Engineering Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects and preparing CEQA/NEPA documents, technical reports, and environmental permits. Your expertise in environmental planning and project management will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Prepare CEQA/NEPA documents, technical reports, and environmental permits, utilizing your knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
  • Conduct field investigations and resource surveys to gather data and information for project development.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, scopes of work, and schedules, ensuring effective resource allocation and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal disciplines and sub-consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical oversight and quality control reviews of documents, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
  • Assist with business development and marketing efforts, leveraging your expertise to promote the company's services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, natural resources, planning, or a related field, with advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in environmental planning and project management, with a focus on CEQA/NEPA documents and technical reports.
  • Proven track record of managing projects and teams, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurability under the company's insurance carrier.
