About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor/Nurse Educator to join our team at Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality home health care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and evaluation of home health services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide training and education to nursing staff on best practices, laws, and regulations related to specialized nursing skills.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff to ensure quality of care and adherence to company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Director of Education to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
  • Conduct client visits and in-home supervisory visits to ensure quality of care and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records and electronic medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state with at least three years of experience.
  • Minimum of one year of home health care experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience in trach, vent, g-tube, and pediatric care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate personal strengths and weaknesses.
  • Customer-service oriented.
