Wieland is seeking a Field Sales Consultant.

This role is pivotal in driving sales growth and expanding our client base by identifying and cultivating new business relationships.

Additionally, the consultant will nurture and enhance connections with key existing clients. This position will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

This role is entirely remote.

While remote, regular travel is essential (including in-person meetings, customer engagement events, overnight stays, and participation in various regional/national trade shows and sales meetings).

Occasionally, weekend travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities:
Field Sales Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate and implement a detailed sales strategy for designated market segments.

Conduct comprehensive market analysis to pinpoint and qualify sales prospects.

Initiate outbound calls to arrange virtual and face-to-face meetings with leads and clients.


Relentlessly pursue and secure new business opportunities while building a robust sales pipeline to ensure a steady revenue stream.

Gain an in-depth understanding of all products and services offered by Wieland Metal Services.

Collaborate with customer service to deliver precise sales quotes for leads and key accounts.

Meet established sales booking and billing objectives for accounts within assigned markets.

Coordinate with management, inside sales, operations, and supply chain regarding material requirements and sales order fulfillment.


Utilize CRM systems effectively to generate quotes, track successes and setbacks, and maintain accurate customer contact records.

Provide actionable insights and market trends based on industry knowledge and client feedback.

Field Sales Consultant

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred but not mandatory.

A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience is preferred, ideally in metal sales.

Strong business acumen and comprehension of financial metrics are essential.

Excellent customer service skills, encompassing both verbal and written communication.

Proficient computer skills, including Excel, ERP, and CRM software; SAP experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and proactive, possessing exceptional organizational, time management, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively for maximum efficiency.

Teamwork, strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are vital.

Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships while delivering outstanding customer service.

Prior experience in territory management and increasing sales volume and margins is expected.

Regular travel is required, including in-person meetings, customer engagement events, overnight stays, and participation in various regional/national trade shows and sales meetings. Weekend travel may be occasionally necessary.
