Job Summary:

KinderCare Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at North Indianapolis KinderCare. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth in our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement KinderCare's research-backed curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child
  • Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development
  • Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
  • Support the center's success by working collaboratively with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and community contacts

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
