Location: Indianapolis, IN

Qualifications Required:

  • Completion of High School diploma or GED.
  • Possession of a Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in a professional context.
  • Adherence to state regulations regarding employment in licensed childcare facilities.
  • Availability for a work schedule from Monday to Friday, with hours from early morning to evening as required.
  • Willingness to attend occasional evening or weekend training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and engage with children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment while implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
  • Facilitate the growth of children in various developmental domains, including language, arts, social skills, independence, motor skills, cognitive abilities, science, mathematics, and technology.
  • Prepare children to achieve and surpass developmental milestones, fostering individual talents and skills.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and national accreditation standards during operational hours.
  • Ensure the provision of meals to children in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Complete necessary training in First Aid/CPR, Universal Precautions, Child Abuse and Neglect, Safe Sleep, and Health and Safety.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including 30/24 training hours in Early Childhood Education.
