Position Overview: Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is seeking a skilled Banker to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in fostering relationships with both new and existing clients to uncover fresh business avenues and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture client relationships to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Formulate strategic recommendations for product offerings, private equity deals, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and valuations.
  • Prepare and scrutinize essential materials for client financing, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitch books.
  • Coordinate various work streams to ensure successful transaction completion while adhering to fiduciary responsibilities.
  • Assist clients in understanding the implications of their decisions throughout the transaction process.
  • Conduct evaluations of operations, business plans, and financial forecasts to deliver strategic and financial analyses related to M&A, leveraged buyouts (LBO), and capital raising.
  • Support senior bankers in client meetings to better comprehend client needs and provide insightful investment and financing advice.
  • Develop diverse financial models to assess debt and equity valuations for M&A and capital raising transactions.
  • Utilize various valuation methodologies, including comparable companies, precedents, and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to devise plans for expanding business with clients, aligning the bank's offerings with client requirements.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, along with three years of experience in investment banking roles such as Investment Banking Associate or Operations Support Analyst. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in the aforementioned fields with five years of progressive experience will be considered.

The full range of experience must encompass:

  • Valuation and Credit Analysis
  • Financial Markets
  • IPOs, SPACs, DeSPACs, M&A, Private Placements
  • Capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance, and securities products
  • Financial Modelling
  • Macroeconomic principles

At least two years of experience should include proficiency in FactSet, Capital IQ, and Bloomberg Terminal. Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is required. The role may involve up to 4% international travel.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $250,000 and $275,000. In addition to the base salary, Citigroup offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, life and disability insurance, and wellness programs.

Work Schedule: This position may allow for a telecommuting or hybrid work arrangement, in accordance with company policies.
