Solutions Center Representative

At Tailored Management, we're seeking a highly skilled Solutions Center Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Interaction: Respond to incoming calls from clients, partners, and plan sponsors, providing expert guidance on various topics, including product suites and regulatory requirements.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on all product changes and enhancements, applying this knowledge to resolve client inquiries and provide consultative expertise.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of conversations and follow a process of documentation to support our strategy of knowing our clients better than anyone.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations, including client or professional licensure requirements, *** policies, firms, plan documents, and state and local laws.
  • Education and Training: Educate clients on tax implications, penalties/surrender charges, death benefit protection, lifetime income, capital preservation, and benefits pertaining to the plan/contract.
  • Problem-Solving and Escalation: Analyze problems to determine the proper course of action, striving for first-time final resolution, and working with internal partners to resolve escalated issues.
  • Professional Development: Develop and grow through monthly individual meetings with leadership to set in place a career path strategy, setting goals and expectations to achieve success in the role and future opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, or communications preferred.
  • License/Certification/Designation: ChFC, CLU, or other industry designations desirable; client series 6 and/or 26 licenses preferred and may be required based on assigned product/line-of-business or distribution system.
  • Experience: One year of experience in customer service, sales-related occupations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Insurance Products and Sales Process: Knowledge of various insurance products and the sales process.
  • State and Local Laws: Solid understanding of the state and local laws necessary to understand the legal implications of certain product features in different states.
  • Client Rules and Regulations: Understands the consequences of not following the Client rules and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with others.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency with computers and common office software.
  • Plan/Contract Understanding: Ability to understand general aspects of plan/contract and utilize technology to enhance conversations with customers.
