Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team at Selectek. As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing mechanical systems and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare detailed drawings and layouts of mechanical components and systems.
- Develop Bills of Material for assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Review and process orders for production.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and structural calculations associated with drawing preparation.
- Initiate changes to existing drawings as assigned by senior designers or application engineers.
- Erect and test mechanical systems and products.
- Process orders and drawings associated with engineering services.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles.
Compensation:
$20 - $27 per hour, depending on experience.
