Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Selectek is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs for our high-voltage switch products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and prepare shop drawings and bills of material for mechanical components.
  • Prepare detail drawings and layouts for parts and equipment used by our Transmission Switch Product Division.
  • Review and process orders for production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Make electrical, mechanical, and structural calculations associated with drawing preparation.
  • Initiate changes to existing drawings as assigned by Senior Designer or Application Engineer.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of mechanical design experience creating drawings using Solidworks.
  • Proficient with Solidworks and AutoCAD.
  • Strong mechanical understanding and problem-solving skills.
Job Details:

The focus of this role will be creating shop drawings for our switch applications. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our products meet our clients' needs by customizing the equipment.

In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the drawings are clean and accurate, and that the bill of materials is up-to-date.
