Electrical Team Lead Job Description

At Professional Engineering Consultants, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical designers and engineers, overseeing the design and development of electrical systems, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of electrical designers and engineers in the design and development of electrical systems.
  • Oversee the development of short circuit, arc flash, and coordination studies with SKM/ETAP.
  • Conduct code analysis, including hazardous area classification studies and design ramifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, communicating effectively and providing excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Prepare and present reports to clients, highlighting project progress and results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) credential preferred.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering credential required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the A/E/C industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other relevant software.
