Job Description

Job Summary:

OTA America, Inc. is a leading international logistics company seeking a highly motivated and reliable Freight Forwarding Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the export of goods, managing documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of shipments.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and shipping manifests.
  • Research and negotiate competitive rates with carriers and vendors.
  • Track and update the status of shipments, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Generate and manage accounts receivable and payable, and prepare profit and loss statements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in domestic and international import/export operations.
  • Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
