Core Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive bank account reconciliations to ensure the precision and reliability of financial data.
  • Oversee the month-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Utilize advanced accounting techniques to analyze and interpret financial data effectively.
  • Conduct detailed reconciliations of the general ledger balance sheet and verify the accuracy of data entries.
  • Monitor bank accounts and accurately document cash receipts using relevant accounting software.
  • Collaborate with financial leadership to prepare accurate cash flow forecasts on a weekly basis.
  • Assist in reconciling intercompany accounts to uphold precise financial records.
  • Support the monthly and annual financial closing processes by preparing assigned journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Respond to information requests and assist with audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Analyze and summarize account data and trends to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Safeguard the organization’s value by maintaining the confidentiality of financial information and adhering to established security protocols.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Experience: Minimum of three years in a dedicated accounting role.

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively across departments. Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. High integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods.
  • Proficient use of standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and telephones.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of moderately heavy items may be necessary.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with team members.

Job Type: Full-time
