Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Piping Rock Health Products. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements
  • Prepare and maintain analyses for various financial and operational business activities
  • Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files
  • Reconcile and analyze general ledger and various other accounts
  • Support various banking functions and reporting
  • Work with third parties to file domestic sales tax and International VAT/GST returns
  • Develop and update spreadsheets, charts, and PowerPoint decks
  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
  • Participate in special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Prior accounting experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Proficiency in Excel a must
  • Knowledge of NetSuite a plus
