Mortgage Loan Officer

We are looking for a dedicated Mortgage Loan Officer to facilitate the loan process for our clients. In this position, you will be responsible for driving loan volume through effective sales strategies with builders, real estate agents, and other industry contacts. A solid background in FHA, VA, and conventional lending is required, along with a familiarity with basic underwriting principles. Strong communication skills are essential as you will collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize loan transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and nurture a network of contacts to drive sales by reaching out to individuals, realtors, and builders
  • Participate in marketing initiatives to showcase loan products
  • Assist clients in completing loan applications while negotiating favorable terms
  • Evaluate information to determine loan eligibility
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales and closing process
  • Ensure prompt loan closure by maintaining close communication with the processing team
  • Stay informed about current loan regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred
  • Experience in outside sales within FHA, VA, and conventional lending
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities
  • Proficient in computer usage with typing skills
  • Understanding of basic underwriting standards
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills
  • Capability to perform effectively under pressure
