Job Description

Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and hearing disorders in children, and developing and implementing individualized therapeutic programs to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and hearing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapeutic programs to address specific needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Provide consultation services to parents and teachers to promote effective communication strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology

Requirements:

  • Must possess or be eligible for the appropriate California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential
  • Successful experience in speech-language pathology, with a strong understanding of young adolescents' social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
