About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Palo Verde Unified School District. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with speech, language, and hearing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support
  • Provide consultation services to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' communication development
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
