Overview


Novant Health is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various office and clinical duties to ensure the efficient operation of our practice. This includes collecting test samples, maintaining patient records, explaining medical procedures to patients, and assisting in basic examinations.


We are looking for dedicated individuals to deliver quality care and service in every aspect of our practice. Our healthcare locations provide world-class care from experienced healthcare providers, treating both common and complex cases with exceptional support resources.


Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program with certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA.
  • Experience: Previous work in a medical office preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA required.
  • Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete skills validation and competency testing.
