We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Catholic Health Initiatives. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities- Support pregnant patients in labor, including induction, epidural assistance, and fetal monitoring.
- Assist and circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections, tubal ligation, cerclage, and emergency procedures.
- Educate patients on various interventions or procedures, including medications, exams, and labor stages.
- Assess newborns and provide care.
- Communicate with the care management team, including anesthesiologists, physicians, lactation nurses, charge nurses, postpartum units, patients, and families.
- Unencumbered license to practice in the State of Arkansas.
- 2+ years of LDRP experience.
- 6 months of acute care experience is required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program).
- Previous labor delivery experience is preferred, but not required.
- BLS through the American Heart Association is required.
- NRP Certification is required for Labor Delivery.
- A competitive hourly rate of $42.83.
- A sign-on bonus up to $25,000 depending on shift.
- Additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder.
