Job Title: Afterhours Registered Nurse Hospice

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Afterhours Registered Nurse to join our team at Elite Hospice of Hot Springs, a part of LHC Group. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

The Afterhours Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive and timely delivery of hospice care to patients and their families after regular business hours. This includes conducting initial nursing evaluations, making home visits, and responding to crisis calls. You will work closely with our team to identify the physical, psychosocial, emotional, and environmental needs of our patients and their families, and develop personalized care plans to meet those needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive and timely delivery of hospice care to patients and their families after regular business hours
  • Make initial nursing evaluations and develop personalized care plans
  • Respond to crisis calls and provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Work closely with our team to identify and address the physical, psychosocial, emotional, and environmental needs of our patients and their families
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One year of clinical experience
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • A valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle
