Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lake Pointe is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients through the childbirth process.

About the Role

This PRN Labor and Delivery position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a high acuity patient population. Our Labor and Delivery unit is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for our patients, and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients in labor and delivery
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
  • Participate in unit-based councils to improve patient outcomes and nursing practice
