About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Radiologic Technology courses at Dallas College. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing students with a high-quality educational experience, promoting student learning and success, and contributing to the development of the Radiologic Technology program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Radiologic Technology courses to students, utilizing a variety of instructional methods and technologies to engage students and promote learning.
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments that align with the program's learning objectives and outcomes.
  • Provide students with regular feedback and guidance to support their academic success.
  • Participate in program evaluation and improvement activities to ensure the continued quality and relevance of the Radiologic Technology program.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes and improvements.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in Radiologic Technology, incorporating relevant knowledge and skills into teaching and learning activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • Texas Medical Board General Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology.
  • For developmental courses: Bachelor's degree or higher in the specific teaching discipline and demonstrated competency (i.e., teaching experience, honors, graduate course work or other related accomplishments).
  • Bilingual or multilingual preferred.
