We are seeking a dedicated Medicaid Liaison Consultant to oversee the financial and administrative operations of multiple long-term care facilities within a designated region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify payor source for residents and collaborate with individual Business Office Managers to ensure timely submission of levels of care and relevant forms.
  • Oversee and facilitate Medicaid Pending application process and work with facility Business Office Managers for required documentation.
  • Collaborate with Business Office Managers to ensure coordinated efforts on activities and review reports to monitor activity.
  • Prepare agings to keep the supervisor informed of all outstanding balances and investigate and resolve issues to ensure a continuous and billable payer source.
Requirements
  • Experience with Medicare/Medicaid processes within the long-term care or healthcare industry.
  • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team setting with a positive and enthusiastic approach to tasks.
  • Appropriate, neat, and professional grooming, manners, and conduct.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and email.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
