Optical Sales Consultant

Are you passionate about style and customer service? We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Optical Sales Consultant to join our team at Big City Optical in Evanston/Chicago. As an Optical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for handling administration duties, assisting with setting appointments, and working with our loyal customer base where patient care always comes first.

• Answer calls and assist with appointment coordination
• Conduct follow-up calls to check in on patients and proactively advise on eyecare appointment availability
• Assist store team with day-to-day operations
• Data entry
• Proactively listen to clients and look for opportunities to exceed their expectations
• Process payments
• Understand and evangelize Big City Optical's value proposition to clients
• Participate in off-hours inventory count work as needed
• Additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall success of the store

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Adhere to company policies on attendance, dress code, and workplace safety
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer skills and aptitude to learn software programs
• Must possess a good fashion sense and awareness of designer brands
• Preferred: Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 10 miles to support coverage at other locations as needed
