Senior Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate Senior Care Specialist to provide exceptional care to our residents at Oaks Senior Living, LLC.
**Job Overview:**
The Senior Care Specialist will be responsible for supervising caregiver staff, ensuring quality care, and upholding our residence philosophy. This role requires administering medications, providing personalized care, and responding to emergency situations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead by example, encouraging teamwork and promoting our residence philosophy.
- Supervise caregiver staff during shifts to ensure quality resident care and adherence to Oaks Senior Living policies.
- Administer medications to residents according to their Medication Observation Record (MOR) and protect resident privacy.
- Document clearly and accurately on the MOR after a medication is taken/given, refused, held, discontinued, changed, disposed of, returned.
- Communicate residents' needs with caregiver staff at change of shift and notify the Wellness Director and/or Executive Director of any changes in resident condition.
**Essential Qualifications:**
- A minimum of one year of experience working with residents in a Senior Living environment.
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare or service industry preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Friendly, caring disposition and desire to work with older adults.
- Must be 21 years of age, have a satisfactory criminal history check, and maintain physical exam by a licensed physician and negative drug screen.
- Ability to react in an emergency situation.
**Salary Range:** $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
