Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Oaks Senior Living, LLC. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by coordinating medication administration, supervising caregiver staff, and upholding our residence philosophy.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to residents according to their Medication Observation Record (MOR) and protect resident privacy
  • Supervise caregiver staff during shifts and ensure quality resident care
  • Document clearly and accurately on the Medication Observation Record (MOR) after medication administration
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and ensure residents' rights to safe treatment

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience working with residents in a Senior Living environment
  • Supervisory experience in a healthcare or service industry preferred
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Friendly, caring disposition and desire to work with older adults

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
