Job Summary

Cumberland Heights Foundation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Adolescent IOP Counselor/Outreach Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide psycho-education, structured group and individual counseling, and outreach services to patients, their families, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric disorders in adolescents and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, providing counseling and therapy sessions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure quality care provision and adherence to the Cumberland Heights Treatment Model.
  • Provide educational components on addiction and recovery to patients, families, and the community.
  • Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in team meetings, treatment plan reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (LCSW, LPC, MHSP, or equivalent) required.
  • Three years of experience in addictions-related treatment, with a minimum of one year in age/population-specific addiction treatment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and use various clinical software.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a therapeutic environment and de-escalate crisis situations.
Work Environment

This position is based in an office setting with occasional exposure to crisis situations. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
