Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles to customers, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and dealership goals
  • Interact with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences
  • Explain features and demonstrate vehicles in the showroom or on test drives
  • Suggest optional equipment and accessories to customers
  • Compute and quote sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discounts
  • Complete sales paperwork, including sales slips and contracts
  • Arrange for vehicle delivery and registration
  • Research vehicle availability and optional equipment
  • Engage in business development and customer relationship-building activities
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn web applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
