Role Summary:
Addison Group is in search of a skilled HR Generalist to support our client within the manufacturing sector. This position presents a valuable opportunity to oversee daily HR operations for hourly staff while also facilitating recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and employee engagement programs.
Primary Duties:
- Oversee employee documentation, including pre-employment records and personnel files, ensuring adherence to company regulations.
- Manage workers' compensation claims, conduct employment verifications, and carry out employee investigations related to workplace issues.
- Assist in recruitment efforts by managing job advertisements, coordinating interviews, and streamlining the onboarding process for new employees.
- Support payroll activities, including timecard management and addressing employee payroll inquiries.
- Maintain precise records in HR systems (Paylocity) and prepare reports for management as required.
- Act as the main HR liaison for hourly employees, addressing inquiries related to workplace conditions, benefits, and other concerns.
- Keep abreast of state and federal labor regulations to ensure compliance in HR practices.
- Engage in HR meetings and contribute to the strategic objectives of the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR Generalist capacity.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution settings.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and processes.
