Payroll Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Consolidated Human Resources. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports for multi-state clients.
  • Understand proper taxation of benefits and process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary.
  • Process manual checks as needed and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Research issues and work with departments within the company to resolve any issues.
  • Respond to employee/client contacts inquiries and manage your email inbox.
Requirements:
  • 6+ months of payroll experience.
  • PrismHR Experience is preferred.
  • FPC/CPP or willing to become Certified is preferred.
  • Degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Bilingual, Spanish speaking is a PLUS.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and solid critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Superb communications skills required.
