JOB SUMMARY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST:
- We are looking for an HR Professional for a team in Ridgefield Park, NJ, who will be responsible for providing operational support to assigned HR Business Partner teams.
- Duties will include operational management of activities across HR functions, including, employee relations, performance management, staffing, and compensation per policies.
- Work Schedule: Hybrid (Mon-Thurs in office, Friday remote)
- Pay Range: $22-$27/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST:
- Assist HRBP with various HR-related issues for the assigned divisions including: cyclical rhythm of the business (day-to-day tasks), people processes, general inquiries
- Support voluntary and involuntary separations inclusive of drafting legal agreements, consolidating employee information from stakeholders, conducting exit interviews and backfilling positions
- Maintain HRIS accuracy and completeness by utilizing Workday and performing functions such as change jobs, supervisory orgs and cost centers changes
- Management of workforce plan including headcount creation and management
- Drive Culture Index participation
- Management of employee information in Workday including performance evaluation, employee history, and organizational charts.
- Work efficiently with datasets (varying sizes from small to very large) in Excel, including v-look up, generating pivot tables, using formula
- Collects data and provides reporting from multiple sources related to HR People Metrics
- Other projects as requested
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST:
- 2+ years of relevant experience working with HR-related technologies with a clear functional understanding of core HR business practices, processes, and terminology (HRIS, compensation, recruiting, performance management, LMS) and the ability to develop solutions to address business problems and requirements
- Education: BA/BS, MA/MS/MBA degree (Human Resources, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Mathematics) or equivalent and aligned experience, preferred
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST:
- Experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with HRIS tools,
- Workday experience required
- Strong organizational skills and high degree of attention to detail and follow through
- Experience with internal employee lifecycles such as Talent Reviews, Performance Reviews, Promotion cycles, etc. preferred
- HR Administration & Customer Focused experience
