Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery, equipment, and systems within the facility. This includes supervising a team of skilled technicians, electricians, and other tradespeople to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize unplanned downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to avoid production delays.
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the production and engineering departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the maintenance processes and equipment.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
- High School education.
