Position Summary:

We are in search of safety-conscious professionals who possess substantial qualifications in heavy diesel equipment maintenance. Ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, along with the capacity to work effectively in both team settings and independently. As a vital team member, you will be expected to:

  • Communicate effectively and maintain strong organizational skills.
  • Execute basic troubleshooting and repairs on both heavy and light mobile equipment.
  • Perform your responsibilities safely and efficiently while upholding a clean work environment.
  • Possess essential hand tools necessary for the role.
Key Qualifications:

Heavy Diesel Equipment Mechanic Experience:

  • Expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting various large, off-road construction machinery (e.g., Wheel Loaders, Material Handlers, Excavators, Trucks).
  • Conduct preventative maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, alongside thorough equipment inspections.
  • Execute mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs on diverse engine and powertrain systems.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar engine technology and diagnostic tools (e.g., E-Technician).

HVAC and Electrical Proficiency:
Experience in HVAC, MVAC, and electrical installations, inspections, and repairs on heavy mobile equipment, material recovery facilities, and associated environments, including:

  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and charts.
  • Implementation of effective PM programs for batteries and electrical systems.
  • Possession of necessary certifications and training to maintain and charge all MVAC and HVAC units in compliance with environmental standards.

Lubrication Technology Expertise:
In addition to basic lubrication services, candidates should have experience in:

  • Conducting preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Generating defect reports.
  • Executing routine PM services on heavy mobile equipment according to established plans.
  • Maintaining organized stock for services and basic repairs, including bulk fuel, coolant, lubricants, and oils.
  • Fueling equipment that is stationary.

Material Processing Plant Maintenance:
Skills in troubleshooting and repairing processing and rotating equipment utilized in material processing plants, such as:

  • Screens, crushers, conveyors, and gearboxes.
  • Maintenance of processing plants or other fixed assets.
  • Realigning belts and shafts.
