About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Change Management to lead large-scale transformation initiatives across our enterprise. As a key member of our Change Management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing change strategies that drive business outcomes and improve our organization's agility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead change strategy development for multiple strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Own overall change capability development for part of the enterprise, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Coach and advise leaders at the SVP/VP level on change management best practices, leveraging your expertise to drive business results.
  • Establish standards for change management at Blue Shield of California, contributing to lessons learned and engaging with the broader change management community.
  • Establish priorities, set goals, and coach change management talent to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Amplify and accelerate our ability to meet desired business and people outcomes through effective change management practices.
  • Foster organizational agility by engaging with and across the enterprise to adapt to a continually changing environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of prior relevant experience, with a minimum of 4 years of management experience.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale transformation projects across an entire enterprise, from initiation through sustainment.
  • Certification and fluency in various change models and methodologies, such as Prosci, ACMP, AIM, Kotter, and GE.
  • Functional breadth in multiple related disciplines, including communications, adult learning, leadership development, org design, and design thinking.
  • Diagnostic and research skills to break down complex challenges, identify root causes, and structure targeted recommendations.
  • Cultural awareness and empathy to create solutions with partners and clients that will endure.
