Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team at Gregory Electric Company Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse organization that offers expertise in various facets of commercial, industrial low and medium voltage construction, high voltage power, mechanical, HVAC, telecommunications, solar, water utilities, and water features.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex electrical projects from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards. As an Electrical Project Coordinator, you will lead and oversee the successful execution of electrical projects, developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources. You will also coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Coordination:
    • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
    • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Identify and resolve project challenges promptly.
  • Budget & Cost Management:
    • Monitor project budgets and forecasts.
    • Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices.
    • Track project profitability and ensure cost control measures are in place.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate project teams, including electricians and foremen, to achieve project goals.
    • Conduct regular meetings to provide updates and address issues.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    • Ensure all projects meet contractual requirements, company quality standards, and adhere to safety regulations.
    • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and industry standards.
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Address client concerns promptly and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Prepare project progress reports for stakeholders.
    • Maintain detailed records, including contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years in project management within electrical construction.
    • Experience managing commercial, industrial, and residential electrical projects.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, OSHA) are a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methodologies.
    • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical documents.
    • Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and nonverbal)
    • Requires self-motivation, organization, and prioritization management
    • Proficient knowledge of OSHA standards and guidelines

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
