Job Opportunity at Walthall Oil Company

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in Macon. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate payment processing for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify customer payments, including checks, credit cards, and ACH transactions
  • Research and resolve customer discrepancies and skipped invoices
  • Prepare and post AR invoices for C-Store tickets
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
